ONLINE COMMUNITY
This blog site was originally made exclusively for our batch (89), the host/organizers of the Dec 2006 reunion. The plan was for us to easily communicate (and not to blog. darn), post updates and suggestions (And for the whole wide world to know hehehe) Pero it didnt work that way. Dati kasi, we relay messages by email. Problem, umiikot lang ang message at humahaba everytime they add their reply and forward it again. and we are still doing it up to now. Kaya nag evolve ang simpleng bogsite na to--instead,it became the (self proclaimed hehehe) "acoje website" wherein everybody can visit, post comments, share pictures and stuff.
What's keeping this blogsite alive is the growing number of visits and your comments. Eventhough most of the visitors didn't bothered to post any comment at all, but Its still nice to know na kahit papano marami dumadalaw sa site, and we're very happy na din kasi we made you people walk back down the memory lane dahil sa mga pics na nakapost. Medyo naubusan na lang kami ng bala kaya ayan, kung ano ano na lang naisip idagdag. Unless you will send us a copy of your barkada or family picture, we will post it here. Anyways, we added another service for us to really keep in touch and be 'karruba' again - THE "ACOJE ONLINE COMMUNITY FORUM", it may not be in real time, but im sure this will help us 'mag-chikahan' better, and that you no longer need to log on to Alumni.net or @ Friendster to drop a message or two (or write a "testi" hehe). So, ano pa hinihintay nyo? Spiderman 3? Tagal pa yun. Mag register na muna kayo! hehehehehe

Hello! I just happened to browse my notes and I saw this site on a piece of paper as texted to me by my brother - Darius Garcia (who is currently abroad). Imagine! Mas updated pa siya na nasa ibang bansa kaysa sa akin na nandito lang sa 'Pinas.
Anyway, thanks a lot for coming up with ideas like this...It really makes me reminisce our great times in Acoje. Sino ba naman ang makakalimot sa Acoje? The Garcia family had wonderful experiences with Acojenians like you. I'm sure my brothers and sister will agree with me.
One of which was when NPA rebels attacked "Commissary" of Mr. Tan, remember? Nasa tapat ng bahay namin pumarada 'yung truck ng mga armed men na nasabi ko pa, "red alert yata ang mga military, ah!" - yun pala, mga NPA na yun. Nang tumawag ako sa headquarters o military station ng Acoje (yes, mayron na po kaming landline noon - yun nga lang analog pa), sabi ng mga military - di daw nila alam ang operation na 'iyon. So, we concluded na ibang grupo nga iyon. After few moments, may mga sinakay silang goodies (from Commissary) sa kanilang truck. Haay! That was very scary pero sa isang banda ok lang kasi di naman sila nanakit ng tao. They just looted goods from Mr. Tan!
Paq-uwi ko uli sa amin sa Bayto, Sta. Cruz (kung saan nandun nakatira ngayon ang parents namin - Dr. & Mrs. Domingo Garcia), hihiram ako ng mga pictures so I can post in this site for your reminiscing, too.

Wow nakakatuwa to be looking at the picture! Anjan pa kaya youngest sister ko nun, si Stefanie Camangyan? Pwede kayang malaman kung anung year ito kinunan kasi these are her kinder batchmates. She didn't finish elementary nga lang in Acoje kc our father was reassigned to another mining company; Stefanie spent only Grades 2-4 in Acoje.

hi there, im sorry for posting my reply in here but I happen to see Ms gertrudes codpayas' name in her.. Kaarruba... musta? reminisce the past noh... maalala ko lagi kami sa bahay niyo kasi lagi kami punta sa bahay niyo (hehe ) para manood ng tv....kamusta po si elnora, siya po yung aking batch eh, pag nahanapn ko yung mga old pics namin, post ko dito..hehe
