OUR LESSON FOR TODAY...
Last December 22, meron kaming konting slide presentation ng mga old pics sa Acoje, saka konting bago. At may konting video din, sayang nga lang at di pwde isama dito. Pero next week, yung mga pics naman ng naunang reunion (2001) ang makikita nyo. Plus,mga bagong images from Acoje, taken last October 2006.
...and kanina lang, may mga na-received akong e-mails na naghahanap nung pictures ng mga dating teachers natin-- Man! U guys are in luck! Here it is, courtesy of JR Pacalagan:

at long last at naopen na rin namin ang site na ito. buti at may mga pictures pa kayong naitatabi, sana madagdagan kasi nabitin kami.nakakamiss ngang bumalik sa atin eh, lalo na sa schools, yong sa elementary at high school.nakita namin lahat ng teachers namin nong high school.sana sa susunod, if ever na magkaroon pa uli ng reunion, kasama na ang mga teachers natin.

hi guys, thanks for taking some time to share your thoughts. you mentioned about "frontliners", please orient me about it, dont have any idea kc. we are thinking of activities where acojneians could continuously meet, para di na maputol naumpisahan. any suggestions out there? bowling is a good idea, if only to reminisce that bowling lane sa acoje, tabi ng consumer na malapit sa palengke, papuntang section 8 eventually leading to section 7?...ayyy nag reminisce bigla.
last week, we celebrated buds reyes' birthday bringing along our families (kasama kids), next time if we plan to have a bigger activity, lets try to include our families, our way of sharing to them what was once special to us, i.e....ACOJE

Hi, Debs! Again,CONGRTULATIONS 4 A JOB WELL DONE! 1 day s not enough pra mag catch up ano. Ur batch (89) & my batch (88) stayed together til 5am at Roxas Blvd. (a day b4 ako umkyat ng Acoje 4 X-mas vcation.) Two thumbs up 4 u! Hi, Ading Jun2, galing mo tlaga (not dat ur my brother ha). Acojenians cn b so techy din pla. I think dis s a first. Nsa history k na! Evrybody loved d video prsentation dat u prepared last reunion. Good job!
Debs, FRONTLINERS is, or shall i say was, an org. initially 4 out of sch. youth n Acoje, bt then ngkaroon ng Jr. Frontliners n members ay fr. grade 4 to HS I. Nong pbagsak n ang Acoje, tigil dn me s pg-aaral, it jst so hapen n wlang mka akyat fr. Sta.Cruz n mgtu2ro sa Kinder dahil s takot s NPA, so i applied kaht n kako wlang pay. D district supervisor allowed me 2 teach, 2 yrs. dn un. (Twing summer namn ako nag aaral) Half day lng Kinder so i dnt hve sumthin 2 do n d aftrnun. E, daming out of sch. youth s atin. Naisip ko 2loy n 2lungan sla.I wanted 2 help them 2 help themselves & to help d community as well. So, i asked help fr. Mrs.Navarro(HS Prin.,OIC, dat tym), Mrs. Fontanos(Elem.Prin.), Mr.DelaCruz(ARA Pres.), I ALSO asked prmission to Conching Cabfeng (KB Chairwoman)& Mr. Damogo (Pres.,Sec.1 & 2 Assoc.) DEY WERE VRY SUPPORTIVE. Automatically, dey became our advisers. Kramihan s members ng community ay sinuportahan dn kmi.We had a blast! We had numerous projects dat we cn b proud of. We lasted 4 3yrs. only coz evry single Sr. Frontliners were inspired 2 move on. Some left Acoje 2 work pra mkaipon, some naging working student,etc. Our Pres., Armando Gallarin became a pastor p nga. Another 1 became a policeman, a nurse, a lot of them work abroad, etc. To all former officers and members of our org., congratulations pa din. You don't knw what u did to help me become what i am now. (Umiiyak ako, promise.)THANK U VRY MUCH. NWALA N ANG FRONTLINERS BUT WE KNW 4 SURE THAT WHAT WE DID 2 OUR COMM. WILL STAY 4EVER IN OUR KABABAYANS HEARTS. That, i think, s d best gift we cn gve 2 our birthplace, ang iwanan itong productive n many ways. Frontliners became an inspiration din sa mga sumunod n organizer. Teka, nphaba n, bka maubos n space. I hope Jun can post some of our pic. sa album na nacompile ko. (Nsayo ang album, 'Ding, d b?)
