Acoje was organized as a Philippine Corporation On october 14, 1935, with the initial purpose of exploiting and developing metallurgical chrome properties. The Acoje Mine Camp is located thirty-five kilometers from the town of Sta. Cruz, Zambales in Luzon. It Sprawls on an elevation ranging from 1,600 to 2,000 feet above sea level, protected from typhoons and the other ravages of the seasons by mountains sorounding the property.
